WHAT TO EXPECT
Our first session, usually an hour, will be an evaluation of your concerns. I will ask you questions about your emotional, social, physical, spiritual/religious parts of your life, and your family background. My objective is to obtain a full picture of your life and develop an individualized plan for you.
Based on our first session, we will establish counseling goals for you. Regular counseling sessions are fifty to fifty-five minutes in length. We may use the following tools to deepen our work: mindfulness, journaling, reading, rituals, awareness exercises, and community resources.
